Nike RunHouse II Amsterdam - preview
Er wordt nog volop gewerkt om de Nike RunHouse II klaar te hebben voor de officiele opening op vrijdag 10 december. Ondanks dat het interieur van de voorgaande RunHouse wordt hergebruikt en opnieuw opgebouwd in deze nieuwe locatie, heeft de RunHouse II toch zijn eigen gezicht gekregen. Door het lage kelder plafond en de afwezigheid van ramen en daardoor buitenlicht, lijken de rode kleuren en verlichting bijna sinister te noemen. Het betreden van de RunHouse II zal je even doen afsluiten van de buitenwereld en wellicht het ‘Run Unleashed’ gevoel naar boven brengen.
It is still under construction and hard work is done to have the Nike RunHouse II ready for the official opening on Friday, December 10th. Although the interior of the previous RunHouse is being reused and rebuilt in this new location, the RunHouse II is unique in its own way. The low basement ceiling and lack of windows and consequently the absence of external light, make the red lighting and colors almost seem sinister. Entering the RunHouse II will shut you out from the world outside for a moment and might just feed the inner ‘Run Unleashed’ feelings.
