In late February this month, adidas will launch the Energy Boost 2 as an update to the highly popular Energy Boost introduced in 2013. Complete with the full Boost midsole and Techfit upper, fans of the original Energy Boost are sure to enjoy the latest installment.
adidas has included a new TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) cage in the midfoot, designed to give your foot even more security and to improve the overall fit. To those who felt as though the upper was a touch too snug, this feature has allowed for more breathing room atop the midfoot and forefoot. All other facets of the shoe have remained the same, including the full Boost midsole and Techfit upper.
The first batch of the Boost 2 will be released in several colorways. The men shoes come available in a Solar Blue/Carbon Metallic/Black, a Solar Zest/Neo Iron Metallic/Black, an Earth Green/Night Shade/Solar Zest and a Black/Black/Solar Blue version. For women it comes in a Vivid Berry/Pearl Metallic/Glow, a Black/Solar Blue and a Solar Blue/Tech Grey Metallic/Solar Metallic colorway.
