In Japanese the word Mezamashii means “bril­liant” and Mizuno has set out on a quest to deliver more bril­liant run­ning. The Mezamashii Project is a cam­paign with­out heavy rotat­ing adver­tise­ments. Instead Mizuno will try to con­vince run­ners that their shoes are the best by giv­ing seri­ous run­ners a pair of shoes to run in and thus spread the word. To accom­pany this mar­ket­ing cam­paign, Mizuno has made some effec­tive and well directed video’s.
