Vorig jaar november kon je hier al lezen over de New Balance 890. Een lichtgewicht minimale schoen dat zich desondanks niet richt op de minimalistiche hardloper. De 890 is een alledaagse neutrale lichtgewicht trainer en kan als alternatief voor een Nike LunarGlide gezien worden.
De New Balance 890 heeft tevens een nieuwe soort middenzool, genaamd REVlite. Een type foam dat de duurzaamheid heeft van de 30% zwaardere type foams, maar toch 1/3 minder weegt. De schoen komt zowel in 4 heren als dames kleuren versies.
