This year marks the tenth anniversary of Nike’s Free technology and the 2014 collection of the Free family makes one step further. The update includes the Free 3.0, Free 4.0 and Free 5.0. The collection allows runners to choose the desired level of flexibility and close-to-the-ground ride and features three of the most significant developments in Nike Free since its 2004 launch.
1. The sole consists of hexagonal flex grooves helping to enable the runner’s foot to move more freely in all directions.
2. A more anatomically-shaped heel is designed to roll as the athlete’s foot hits the ground.
3. The upper is made of Flyknit technology, allowing the foot to move more freely in all directions.
The Nike Free 3.0 Flyknit offers the most flexibility and a four-millimeter heel-to-forefoot offset. The ultra-light Flyknit upper provides a supportive and contoured fit.
The Nike Free 3.0 Flyknit will be released on April 3.
