Nike raises the bar once again by intro­duc­ing its first new ino­va­tion for this olympic year, called the Nike Flyknit.
The Nike Flyknit has been through a test­ing period of no less than four years involv­ing mate­r­ial engi­neers, bio-mechanical spe­cial­ists, footwear design­ers and run­ners. The Nike Flyknit is the new alter­na­tive for all avail­able mate­ri­als put into run­ning­shoes today. The tech­nol­ogy con­sists of a sock-like knit upper that deliv­ers both struc­ture forms and com­fort.
The first model in this series is the Nike Flykit Racer which is 19% lighter than the Nike Zoom Streak 3. No doubt we will see the Nike Flyknit Racer on the feet of olympic ath­letes this summer.
