It’s the sea­son of col­lec­tions so it seems. After the recently posted Shield col­lec­tion, Nike Running has sched­uled the Dark Collection for this win­ter. This col­lec­tion is part of a big­ger whole con­stist­ing of the Rain and Cold Collections as well.
The Dark Collection is aimed at those run­ners that go out­side dur­ing the times of day when there is a loss of light. Especially when the days become shorter it is vital to stay vis­i­ble when out on a run. All of the pieces use the prin­ci­ple of retro reflec­tion – most of the light goes directly back in the direc­tion it came from instead of in all direc­tions, mak­ing you much more vis­i­ble to oncom­ing traf­fic.
The col­lec­tion con­sists of a reflect­ing Vapor Flash jacket, a Swift Tight with reflec­tive strips and shoes from the Nike Shield collection.
